This infrared heating panel is for wall mounted installation only and must never be installed on a ceiling. It can be wall mounted DIY using the brackets and fixtures provided – all you need to do is attach the brackets to the wall, then place the panel on the brackets and plug it into a standard 3-pin socket.
The signal range between the wireless temperature sensor and the panel receiver is 5m – if they are outside of this range, they may experience difficulty pairing.
Ecostrad Accent iQ panels are suitable for use in bathrooms provided they are installed in zones 2 or 3 as per the manufacturer’s guidelines. If they are to be installed in a bathroom, they must always be hardwired into a fused spur by a professional electrician. Always defer to the manufacturer’s guidelines regarding the installation and suitability of their products for use in bathrooms.
If you are planning to install multiple heaters, please consult an electrician beforehand to avoid overloading the ring main of your property. They will be able to provide further advice on your project and hardwire your heaters to the mains.
The 350w Ecostrad Accent iQ infrared wall panel makes smart heating affordable for any property. It’s WiFi compatible and can be installed DIY with ease so you don’t even need to hire a contractor –a convenient, modern solution that you can set up in minutes.
Accent iQ panels heat rooms using far infrared, which is a natural feeling warmth that mimics the type of heat produced by our own bodies. Infrared heat is absorbed by surrounding objects, like the walls, floor and ceiling, to create a lasting warmth that’s evenly distributed throughout the room. As brickwork retains infrared radiant heat, you can warm spaces using less energy and keep running costs to an absolute minimum. The Accent iQ uses a carbon crystal film element on the inside of the panel which efficiently conducts heat and allows the heater to be super lightweight. For extra protection, these elements also have a fire-resistant coating which is patented and unique to the product.
Every Accent iQ infrared panel is ready for WiFi control the moment it’s plugged in. Just download the Smart Life app to your phone and pair it to each of the heaters in your system – it’s that simple. No gateway accessories are needed because the panels have a receiver that communicates directly with your home router. Once they’re connected, the Smart Life app allows you to create multiple in-depth heating schedules for your infrared panels that you can micro-manage down to each individual minute. The Smart Life app also unlocks Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant voice control, so if you have a smart speaker, you won’t even need to lift a finger to adjust your heating.
Accent iQ infrared wall panels come with a wireless sensor that communicates temperature readings to the Smart Life app. The sensors can be paired to any number of Accent iQ panels and give you the option of grouping heaters together to follow the same schedule. The sensor can be wall mounted or free standing and comes with its own desk stand for convenient placement. If you would prefer to use the heater manually or with an external controller, you can simply use the bypass switch on the rear of the panel which gives you the option of changing your control preference further down the line.
This Ecostrad Accent iQ infrared heating panel is for wall mounted installation only – please see our range of Accent iQ ceiling mounted panels if you need a heating system that is out of arm’s reach. If you plan to use this heater in a bathroom, please ensure that it is hardwired by a professional electrician.
